The Streaming Festival - International Festival for Audio Visual Art
3rd edition starts in October 2008 (exact date will be announced).
The Hague, Netherlands
www.streamingfestival.com

The Streaming Festival is an international audio visual art and film event. This event takes place on the internet, where films are broadcasted full screen on streaming servers with high image quality.

The Streaming Festival - 3rd edition 2008 is now accepting submissions for its 3rd edition in October 2008. Deadline for submissions is 01 September 2008. Documentary, animation, art and narrative genres are accepted. No entry fee for submissions.

The website is the main location of the festival. Films are presented in several carefully selected film programs. Playlists and background information on films and their makers will be made available weeks before the opening in October. Anyone with an internet connection can plug into a festival stream from any location, at any given time and start watching contemporary art and films. Because films are presented online, viewers can switch back and forth easily between the programs.

In addition to this, the festival invites a limited number of international art and film related organizations to partner up with the festival. Those organizations can compose their own program alongside the regular festival program.
